We presented ourselves at this hospital on the advice of our travel insurers, when my partner needed support with an existing health condition while we were on holiday. They were absolutely brilliant. From entering the hospital (which was a €12 Uber journey from the Centro Historico), we were triaged, he was consulted and treated, and we left again in just 2 hours. We were incredibly efficiently fast-tracked from the reception area and he was seen by nurses and doctors who assessed him and administered I.V antibiotics and pain killers, and provided a prescription for both so he could continue his treatment and we could continue with our holiday. The staff were all very kind and helpful, despite our Spanish being minimal (we used the ‘Translate’ app where we needed to). There is a pharmacy across the road from the hospital and both medications totalled just over €6. If you have an emergency I couldn’t more highly recommend going to the Urgencias (zone B). IMPORTANTLY: take your passport, GHIC card, and travel insurance documents with you.

You need a bit of Spanish. Obviously all staff are Spanish. Huge place to navigate. Large car park but unless you get there early it's full so very difficult to find parking. Usually you need to park away from the hospital and walk.

Very poor service had me sitting around for 10 hours told me my operation would be in 2 weeks and I would have to stay in for the 2 week then wouldn't let me out for any excerise staff were rude and totally unhelpful!!
P.s I went to another hospital and they had me in there for checks for 2 hours sent me home operated the next day and sent me home at 7pm I arrived at the hospital 8am and wasted 2 hours on a covid test . Really shows that hospital civil only wanted to keep me in pain for 2 weeks to make the hospital bill bigger nasty horrible hospital!!!!!!

Pray to God that you do not need to go at this hospital if don’t speak Spanish.no one is wiling to help you. Took my wife today with covid symptoms they left her on a hall way for 8 hours without water, without food .No one gives a f… if you are not Spanish…Shame on you
